To say Yes in Turkey – Turkey Weddings for real gallery – What we do

“Destination Weddings in Turkey are hot, and so are Honeymoons!

Many are claiming to “Do Weddings” on their websites, and we found out that too often there is no delivery of what was promissed.

We, Turkey Weddings, we do not need to do all the weddings Turkey can host, but it hurts to learn stories afterwards of unnessesary small and very often deep dissapointments, to even complete disasters, this by inexperienced imitators and cullprits.

We dare to say: “we do it for real” and indeed can prove it with endorsements and good press from both inside Turkey and abroad.

So yes, we decided to proceed with a slight warning if you are planning to plan your wedding in Turkey:

Please please, before engaging with a company for maybe one of the most important events of your life, ask for real pictures of their organised weddings and a few references of real couples! Very often pictures are grabbed from the web (sometimes we also find our own pictures there).

Our Mission is and always has been to provide  and organise stress-free and memorable weddings;

  • Civil wedding ceremonies which are worldwide accepted legally.
  • We vow to organize all aspects of the couples expectations on a destination wedding, and if required including a religious ceremonie.
  • We organise the wedding parties all inclusive, always with proven professional and trustworthy vendors.
When planned and organized well, a Destination Wedding can be relaxing and fun for you and for your expected guests, ánd an experience to remember for a life time…
We know that planning your wedding is already and naturally an exciting time for you both, but it can become extra stressful with so much to think about and to organize. As experienced wedding planners, our promise is to deal with every single detail on behalf of you and just like you want us to do, in a transparant and professional way. And up till now we could always meet the wishes Either it’s only a ceremonie for the two of you, or with few or many guests up to 150. According to your desires and budget we will offer you venues and suggest you locations.
And while sorting out all the required legal paperwork and other legal requirements, we will be bargaining with vendors and look after all payments on behalf of you. While at all times being transparant for you and your spouse to be.
Taking care of your invited guests, dealing with their pre- and post wedding vacation itineraries, suggesting them hotels, and organizing their transfers is also a part of our job. You can simply ask your guests to contact us for their travel arrangements.

Besides the personalized wedding consulting services, we offer with Turkey Weddings, and our partner Travel Atelier, true recommendations of proven professionals, such as photographers and videographers, decorators for the venue site set-up, florists for the venue site decoration and bridal bouquet, cake shops for your wedding cake, musicians for your celebration party, and whatever you would like to have more for your dream wedding in Turkey.

One of our first (2008) and very precious testimonials from Kumi & Etienne you will find here….

“The priest told us at our wedding ritual that we’ve been sent to each other by God. If that is the case (which we have no doubt it is), then so were Murat and Pinar god-sent to us. Being an Asian-European couple, it was our dream to marry in the city of Istanbul. We took the brave decision to go ahead with the idea, but the prospect of organizing it from Cambodia where we live, seemed rather daunting. Until we found them, who turned out to be most reliable, responsible and at the same time friendliest wedding coordinators in Turkey. Every couple wants to have the special and best possible for their wedding and Murat and Pinar’s “project-wise”, personalized work admirably patiently accommodated our endlessly changing demands for the best. Every time we email a question on minute details or a request based on spontaneous ideas (which was almost every day during the three months of preparation), they would reply with assuring “No problem”, “It can be done”, and “That’s why you’re working with us.” They are indeed well acquainted with all the necessary procedures, and searched for well-suited venues throughout Istanbul. Not being based there was not a problem for this mobile, flexible couple at all. Thanks to all the good organization and information provided by them, we were well equipped with good knowledge and proper expectations by the time we arrived one week prior to our big day. Of course we made last minute changes – which were again well absorbed by our dear Murat and Pinar, always with such energy and smiles. By the end of all that, we have not only accomplished our dream wedding, but also have earned very special friends in Turkey.

Thank you Murat and Pinar once again!

And some of our more recent couples here

and yes, we are on Twitter as wel;

Tip for couples who want to widen their research: Nowadays there are many who claim to offer fully organized quality weddings, please just aske them for a few testimonials (and check them with the couples concerned), and let them show you some real wedding pictures of ceremonies they were involved in, or if they can, to provide articles featuring their company.

Cheating has become very easy these digital days. Some of Turkey Weddings web pictures have indeed been used by other event organizers, sometimes called  Wedding Webs. Sadly more often than not they cannot do better than to copy work of reputable companies and advertise as if they are really experienced in this business, ( often web companies call us to ask how we do/manage all this !).

Ask them if they have ever been to your consulate at all. If they say yes, ask for details, with whom they spoke etcetera and just tell them you will ask your consulate for references and see how they respond.

These days Destination Weddings are serious business and our company lawyers are working on the copy-cat cases to stop this misleading of future couples who planning to get married in Turkey.

Whether we will be able to extend you our services or not, we wish you a remarkable and exciting time together.

Archaeological Expeditions to Turkey – Travel Atelier knows the way

Berthold Steinhilber
I know that most of the people think of sunny beaches when they hear ‘Turkey‘ combined with ‘Holiday Destinations’, and yes of course, there are many beautiful beaches and gorgious Boutique Hotels to stay in during your visit to the Mediterranean coasts of Turkey.  But how about making your next vacation to Turkey an Archaeological Expedition to worlds wonders?
How about visiting the oldest Temple of the world, along with other interesting sites? How about diving into 10.000 BC in a heartbeat?
This oldest Temple of the World being just about 7000 years older than Stonehenge…. Göbekli Tepe

Six miles from Urfa, an ancient city in southeastern Turkey, Klaus Schmidt has made one of the most startling archaeological discoveries of our time: massive carved stones about 11,000 years old, crafted and arranged by prehistoric people who had not yet developed metal tools or even pottery.
The megaliths predate Stonehenge by some 6,000 years. The place is called Gobekli Tepe, and Schmidt, a German archaeologist who has been working here more than a decade, is convinced it’s the site of the world’s oldest temple.
